ÉDS Dragons Stand Strong in Week 2 Brawlhalla Esports Action

The ÉDS Dragons Esports program completed their second week of matches today and, aside from a few postponements due to the weather, continued their dominance in the Manitoba School Esports Association league play.

The teams are now a combined 24-1 with 3 make-up games to schedule due to the snowstorm.  Matches with Yellowquill School (Portage la Prairie) and MacKenzie Middle School (Dauphin) will be made up at a later time.  Strong communication, leadership, and mid-game adjustments are the story in Week 2 as a number of matches required full commitment from the teams as they moved through their competition. The coaching by Mr. Hrabi has definitely paid off.  Can't wait for Week 3!

If you missed the action, you can always check out the match replay at www.twitch.tv/EDSDragons where you can catch the four matches the streaming team captured.  The team worked with Mr. Koblun this week on mixing play-by-play and colour commentary, and the results are worth it!

HUGE thank you to Mme Craigen, one of the league commissioners this season.  Mme Craigen has done so much to help organize and run the largest season our school has ever been a part of with 83 Middle School teams all competing to come to the Top-32 provincial finals hosted at ÉDS on March 9th!

Awesome job team!
