Ecole Dugald School Parent Advisory Council (DPAC)
Ecole Dugald School Parent Advisory Council (DPAC) is a dedicated group of parents who meet monthly with the school administration to discuss current and upcoming events. Our Parent Council is active in working with school staff in providing opportunities for students, making improvements at the school (such as the Outdoor Classroom), and fundraising for specific projects (such as the Playground Project). Meetings are an opportunity to celebrate successes and events at the school, dream and plan about the future for our students and our school, and review budget submissions and school information. We also talk about good teaching and learning practices that parents and teachers can support each other with at home and at school.
We actively support school programs and host various events throughout the year to raise fund for various initiatives. Currently, our primary fundraising goal is the development of a new playground. We are hopeful we will achieve all the required funding so we could have phase one completed by end of summer.
Hot Lunch Program
DPAC runs the hot lunch program at EDS. Our offerings include Dominos Pizza, Subway, and, new this year, Hot Dog Day, and Co-Op chicken fingers and potato wedges.
