Esport Canada EDU Scholastic Invitational ’25 — Event Recap
Hosted at École Dugald School — December 6, 2025

École Dugald School proudly hosted the Esport Canada EDU Scholastic Invitational ’25, bringing together nearly 50 teams from across Canada for an unforgettable day of competition, community, and scholastic esports excellence. With 21 U18 teams and 25 U15 teams battling it out, our Esports Lab was buzzing with energy from the opening matches to the final championship games.

ÉDS Represents With Two U15 Teams

ÉDS competed in the U15 division with two dedicated squads:

  • ÉDS White Dragons - Top 4

  • ÉDS Black Dragons - Top 14

Both teams demonstrated impressive skill, teamwork, and composure throughout the event, earning ÉDS a well-deserved Top 4 finish in a highly competitive bracket.

Visiting Schools & Community Spirit

We were thrilled to welcome teams and spectators from several local Winnipeg-area schools, including:

  • Collège Béliveau

  • Valley Gardens Middle School

  • Chief Peguis Middle School

  • Marion School

The sportsmanship and camaraderie on display made the Invitational more than just a tournament— it was a celebration of youth esports culture in Canada.

National Champions Crowned

After a full day of high-level Rocket League action, two schools emerged victorious:

  • U15 Division Champions: Chief Peguis Red Wolves

  • U18 Division Champions: LCI (Lethbridge Collegiate)

Congratulations to both programs on outstanding performances!
