This past Saturday, April 18th, The ÉDS Esports team competed in the Esport Canada EDU Scholastic National '26. Our students represented Dugald and battled teams from all across the country. Our teams did well, with the ÉDS Red Dragons finishing Top 4 in the tournament falling in Game 5 OT to the finalists, Vimy Valkyries. Our ÉDS White Dragons defeated our own Black Dragons in the consolation Quarterfinals to fall in the Semis to the eventual Consolation winners, the SMS Knights in a Game 5 OT.
Thanks to our broadcast team of Jacob Durksen, Claire Potapinski, Kaylyn Whiklo, Lewis Hodgert, and Allison Harder, we were able to capture most of the tournament with our teams!
